What Makes a Good Teacher?

In this episode of Wait, What?? Now You Know, we investigate what it takes to be a good teacher. A study cited in the March 2025 issue of Harvard Magazine, concluded that a teacher's degrees and certifications do not correlate to effectiveness in the classroom. We have therefore asked real students and a few amazing and effective teachers from William Annin Middle School in NJ, "What makes a "good teacher?"
